Rebel Congress MP Jaganmohan Reddy stirred up his own storm recently in Nellore. Saying his patience was running out, Jagan said the anger of YSR loyalists would erupt like a tidal wave one day. But Jagan’s rants are old hat, what made the news was the presence of ex-actress Roja and NTR’s widow Lakshmi Parvati at the town rally. The crowd was in for a liberal dose of mythology as Roja said Jagan will not be an Abhimanyu to be sacrificed but an Arjuna who will win the war. Lakshmi Parvati went a step ahead and compared him to Sri Ram. Jagan pitched in, likening his detractors to Sisupala who committed a 100 sins against Lord Krishna before he was beheaded. But evidently all that myth-making got a bit too much for Jagan, who had to be hospitalised later with severe pain in the right shoulder.
